Leasing
- Proactively reach out to potential tenants through cold calls and networking to generate new leasing opportunities.
- Manage leasing enquiries, arrange and conduct property viewings, and follow up with prospects to convert them into tenants.
- Drive new lease signings and renewals by identifying target market segments and engaging with property agents where required.
- Negotiate lease terms for both new tenancies and renewals to achieve favourable outcomes.
- Perform background checks and due diligence on prospective tenants.
- Prepare and coordinate marketing materials and lease documentation through to the execution of the Tenancy Agreement.
- Maintain positive tenant relationships and address tenant matters relating to their lease within the property.
- Prepare approval documentation for confirmed leasing offers or amendments, ensuring all lease details are accurately captured for landlord approval.
- Draft and process letters of offer, tenancy agreements, and other lease-related documents, including variation letters where applicable.
- Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel on lease amendments or contractual adjustments when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments to manage and resolve lease-related issues.
- Act as a key point of contact for tenants on lease matters while fostering strong tenant relationships.
- Work closely with the Finance team on arrears management and assist in the follow-up of overdue payments.
- Contribute to the review and enhancement of lease administration processes and procedures.
- Provide support to the Head of Department on ad-hoc tasks, projects, or initiatives as required.
- Diploma or Degree in Real Estate Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail leasing, retail operations, or business development, with strong negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing tasks independently when needed.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, quick to learn, results-driven, and possessing a positive and market-oriented mindset.
- CEA license required.
