We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Investment Analyst to join a dynamic family office. This role offers broad exposure across asset classes and investment strategies, supporting the end-to-end investment process from origination to execution and portfolio management. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, optimise portfolio performance, and drive long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the investment and asset management of the Group’s portfolio, with a focus on enhancing value, returns, and overall performance.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support investment evaluation, pricing strategies, yield optimisation, and capital allocation decisions.
- Conduct in-depth financial, strategic, and operational analysis to support investment decisions, including regular and ad-hoc portfolio performance reviews.
- Assist in the execution of acquisitions, divestments, and strategic transactions, including financial modelling, due diligence, and investment evaluation.
- Perform market and sector research, including competitive benchmarking and analysis of key industry trends across relevant asset classes.
- Support capital markets and corporate finance activities such as refinancing, fund raising, and portfolio optimisation initiatives.
- Prepare high-quality investment papers, presentations, and investment memoranda for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including advisors, financial institutions, and operating partners.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the family office’s investment and strategic objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a family office environment.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and investment analysis.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think critically and independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
