Our client is a Singapore-based investment and asset management platform with a strong regional presence across Asia Pacific and selected international markets. The firm manages a diversified portfolio of real estate and alternative investment assets on behalf of institutional investors, family offices, and strategic partners through various investment structures and platforms.
As part of its continued growth and expansion, the company is seeking a commercially driven and hands-on finance leader to oversee finance operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial management within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Finance will be responsible for:
- Leading all aspects of finance operations, including financial reporting, compliance, governance, administration, and internal controls.
- Overseeing accounting, regulatory, tax, and corporate secretarial matters across the business and its investment structures.
- Managing compliance obligations with relevant regulatory bodies and tax authorities, in collaboration with external advisors and service providers.
- Supervising project and asset-level accounting, including cash flow management, funding activities, capital drawdowns, and portfolio-level financial oversight.
- Managing relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, trustees, compliance consultants, and banking partners.
- Supporting investment transactions including acquisitions, divestments, financing arrangements, and lender negotiations.
- Monitoring financing arrangements and ensuring ongoing compliance with debt covenants across the portfolio.
- Partnering with investment teams on portfolio valuation exercises and financial risk assessments.
- Overseeing distribution calculations, profit-sharing structures, and investor reporting processes.
- Acting as a key finance contact point for investors, board members, and senior stakeholders on financial reporting and operational matters.
Interested candidates should possess the following:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience within real estate investment, private equity, fund management, or property-related industries.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, financial controls, and investment structures.
- Prior audit experience and strong stakeholder management skills will be advantageous.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proactive, hands-on, and capable of driving initiatives with minimal supervision.
