Non-negotiable:

 
  • Minimal 8 years’ experience handling cybersecurity projects
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as (NIST, ISO27001, CIS)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to handle prioritization of projects based on risk profiles
  • English Advance level, Business Japanese level (JLPT N2)

NG:
  • No PM which is application, infra PM or PMO coordinator
  • No overseas candidate, with exception of having visa such as Spouse Visa/ Child Visa, Business Visa (Convertible to work visa), student visa
  • Candidate on 2 months’ notice or more.

Hiring manager and report:
  • Reporting under Aurelie Trottereau (Background GRC from BNP Paribas in the past in Paris)
  • Team structure – 2-3 headcount under her, international including nationality from Japanese, French, Singapore

Job scope:

A Cybersecurity Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cybersecurity initiatives that protect an organization’s systems, data, and infrastructure. The role sits between security teams, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure security projects are delivered effectively, on time, and within scope.

Communication: English internally  & stakeholders in Japanese

Project Delivery & Management
  • Lead end-to-end cybersecurity projects (e.g., security tool implementation, cloud security, IAM, SOC upgrades)
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution
  • Ensure delivery aligns with security standards and compliance requirements

Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate between security engineers, IT teams, vendors, and business units
  • Communicate project status to senior management and stakeholders
  • Align cybersecurity initiatives with business priorities

Security Program Execution
  • Support implementation of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls
  • Drive initiatives like vulnerability management, endpoint security, SIEM deployment, etc.
  • Ensure remediation of audit findings and security gaps

Risk & Compliance
  • Track and manage cybersecurity risks across projects
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, local data protection laws)
  • Support internal/external audits

Vendor & Tool Management
  • Manage third-party security vendors and service providers
  • Evaluate and coordinate deployment of security tools and platforms

Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain project documentation, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and KPIs

Requirement:
 
  • Minimal 8 years’ experience handling cybersecurity projects
