My client, a leading European banking institution, is seeking an experienced Vice President, Finance – Asset Liability Management (ALM) to join its team. This senior role is critical to managing the institution’s balance sheet, optimising interest rate and liquidity risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will come from a strong finance background, with a deep understanding of financial risk management and balance sheet strategy. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Analyse daily/ weekly balance sheet movements and trends. 

• Analyse and provide advisory on the impact of various risk and regulatory constraints on balance sheet 

• Analyse balance sheet performance and provide actionable insights to optimise net interest income and capital utilisation. 

• Prepare ALM reports, dashboards, and risk assessments for senior management and regulatory bodies. 

• Stay current on market conditions, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance the ALM framework. 

• Support scenario analysis, stress testing, and capital planning in line with internal risk appetite and external regulations. 

Required Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of Finance experience in banking industry preferred  

• Demonstrated experience in balance sheet management and Asset Liability Management (ALM)
