About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the incumbent will oversee all aspects of information technology strategy, operations, and infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead the planning, implementation, and management of digital services across the organization, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.

This is a pivotal role, requiring a strong strategic mindset and the ability to lead a team through transformation while maintaining operational excellence across systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy and roadmap aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of 10 professionals across all disciplines
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.
  • Oversee financial planning and management of the IT division’s budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Ensure robust IT governance, risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks are in place.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for technological advancement.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and service provider relationships to support evolving business needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • 15+ years’ experience in Technology and at least 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within transport, Shipping, Oil & Gas or similar industry.
  • Proven ability to lead across all IT functions, including cloud infrastructure, security, architecture, and service delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of IT principles, governance, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement ability, with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic documents and present to senior audiences.
  • Ability to think innovatively, adapt to change, and implement scalable technology solutions.
