You are an Application Support Analyst with a strong focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) . This is a key role that ensures the performance, scalability, and reliability of our mission-critical applications. You will act as the bridge between software development and IT operations—bringing automation, stability, and operational excellence to the forefront of our systems.
What You’ll Do Incident & Problem Management
-  Provide Tier 2/3 support for production systems—troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues. 
-  Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response efforts, and perform root cause analysis (RCA). 
-  Plan, test, and coordinate application deployments and system changes. 
-  Create and maintain custom scripts to automate reporting and operational tasks. 
-  Enhance monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve issues proactively. 
-  Define and monitor SLAs for application reliability and uptime. 
-  Collaborate with infrastructure teams to fine-tune performance of databases and servers. 
-  Continuously improve system architecture and performance through thoughtful redesign. 
-  Build automation tools and scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Windows batch, C++) to eliminate manual work and streamline operations. 
-  Work closely with developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams to enhance system design and support. 
-  Maintain clear documentation, including runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational best practices. 
-  At least 3 years of experience in application support or SRE roles, ideally within the financial services industry. 
-  Familiarity with securities and/or derivatives back-office operations is highly desirable. 
-  Solid understanding of equities and other financial products is a plus. 
-  Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in distributed system environments. 
-  Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, Windows batch). 
-  Experience working with Microsoft .NET C# applications. 
-  Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including large-scale data querying and reading stored procedures. 
-  Strong grasp of security best practices and system reliability principles. 
-  Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 
-  Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
-  ITIL or other relevant certifications are an added advantage. 
-  Bonus: Background in securities or futures brokerage and deep understanding of related business processes.
